This is a Rutgers University Study Abroad summer program that endeavors to teach undergraduate and graduate students archaeological field skills and methods. At the end of the field school students earn either 6 or 3 Rutgers credits. For 2021, we will be working on the Roman-era villa site (ca. 100 BCE to 200 CE) near the village of Vacone, ca. 50 km north of Rome.
