General Description / Special Programs
Integrated biocultural program with emphasis on public engagement. Foundational courses in biocultural evolution, anthropology of inequality, and culture, identity, & cognition, and required courses in research methods and public seminar. Electives in archaeology, biological, cultural, and linguistic anthropology, and area studies. Study-abroad, field schools and internships strongly encouraged.

The Department of Anthropology offers internships to qualified students. Some internships are long standing, and others are newly identified by the students themselves, and vetted by the Department.

Research Facilities
Anthropology teaching lab, electronic access to HRAF, qualitative analysis software.
Collections
Human anatomy teaching models; forensic osteology teaching collection; non-human primate & hominin cast collection, lithic artifact collection.
Library Resources
University has significant book holdings in stacks, and access to most major journals/periodicals on-line. Also has access to many on-line video titles.
